Well we fixed some more bugs. Don’t we always? But somehow we always end up creating more. Otherwise we wouldn’t have anything to fix on every new version now would we?
And then we added 3 new options.
The long awaited and yearned for option to disable the default text shadow on headers is finally here. No more editing the CSS, no more extra declarations in the custom CSS field. Now it’s just an Enable/ Disable option in the Graphics section.
Then there’s the on demand option to disable the headers and titles indent. You’ll find the in the Text Settings section.
And then there’s the option to edit the look of your meta area. You got gray background, white background or nothing at all. Check it out in the Graphics section.
Take a look, play with the options and report any bugs.
We’ll be waiting.
Firstly Kay,
Thank you for the no-dropshadow, social button options and no indent settings. Way to ROCK! π
Just sent you $10 for a grande mocha supreme double-shot (and maybe a pastry?).
Something I can;t get to work:
Re: CSS customization entry in Mantra Settings:
It seems that there may be more to the custom Css entry box than I understand. My goal is to make my style changes once, and that they will update along with Mantra releases.
For instance, in the Misc dropdown in Mantra Settings, I pasted some typographic alteration for the Title size, line height and weight, as:
#content .entry-title {
color: #000000;
font-size: 24px;
font-weight: bold;
line-height: 3em;
margin-bottom: 0;
Nothing happens after updating and refreshing with caches dumped. If I manually sub that code into the style.css doc directly, the bold font weight and 3em line-height changes as expected but not the 24pt font size.

I want to make other subtle changes too, so knowing how to add my code swaps to your interface would be oh so grandΓ©!
There’s a little glitch in your custom CSS:
<style>/* Mantra Custom CSS */
} <--- note the out of place bracket :) #content .entry-title { color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 3em; margin-bottom: 0; </style>
Yes, true and now fixed:
/* Mantra Custom CSS */
#content .entry-title {
color: ##445634;
font-size: 24px;
font-weight: bold;
line-height: 3em;
margin-bottom: 0;
1. Color and font weight now in control, but resulting font size still unaffected by custom Css. Odd…
2. Can you recommend specific Css change to tighten up the space between Widgets? Also reduce the space between referring links, and the space below last of these links?
3. I love the drop downs on your menu above this releases page. How can I enable that feature to see the subheadings in my Menus?
4. Why to some of my created menus show and others do not?
(i can send screenshots via email if requested.)
Hi!
First of all in your CSS there’s this error:
color: ##445634;
It shouldn’t have two #.
Now on to your questions:
1. Try adding this line to fix your font size issue:
font-size: 24px !important ;
See the !mportant text there. π
2. Add this in the custom CSS area:
.widget-container {
margin: 0px;
}
3. and 4. I’m not sure what you mean exactly but I think you wanna create a custom menu.
Please have a look here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Good luck!
Hi,
I love the customization options in this theme. But I discovered something really strange (a bug, maybe?). I want to hide all post information (date, author, time, categories…) and meta area background. I do it with the post-information settings and graphic settings. But when I continue customizing the site, all post information are back and I have to return to default settings and start all the customization again. I don’t know yet which instruction create the bug.
My aim is to create a page where all posts looks as a list. I’m creating a bibliography where each post represents a different book or article. At the end, I want a simple list of publications, automatically organized in a chronological order. So there is something I need to do that mantra settings don’t propose : to reduce spaces between one post and the other. How can I do this?
Regards,
G.
What do you mean by But when I continue customizing the site, all post information are back and I have to return to default settings .
If you modify only the post settings and save settings than check the site… is it hiding the meta tags?
Also, could you provide a link?
i also have a problem with the post information bar.
it didn’t show up
here is the screenshots of my settings

You need to set the last option – All post metas to Show.
somehow I can’t access mysite.com/feed
is it also a bug too ?
It’s not Mantra but you can test by trying another theme and see if it works.
Oh, ok… copyrights are back… now where is my ‘soup’? And I see another funny thing, in the comments my pic is appearing on everyone else’s gravatar π
Both issues are non-Mantra related.
Check your plugins for fixing the repeating title and look in your Worpress Settings under Discusson for Default Avatar. You must’ve selected your avatar there as well. Select a different/blank one.
This was your soup. Hope everything works out and the copyright stays visible π
Thanks π
Hello there, I downloaded Mantra today & simply overwhelmed with the its beauty and options it offers…. Just one minor issue that’s driving me nuts :S In the explorer’s title bar, the blog title and blog description are displayed twice π How can I get rid of one?
Thanks for such a great theme… I will write an exclusive post to encourage my readers to go for Mantra π
You removed the copyright from the theme. No soup for you!!! :p
Yeah, seriously we don’t give any kind of support for copyright removers. If you wanna show how much you love the theme… leave the copyright on.
If you’re using the theme for a client or in a manner where you cannot leave it on… we accept donations π
