Update 1.3.0.3 should correct the interference with notification plugins.

@Listopad: the screenshot I included above is from the official themes check plugin which you link to and it can be clearly seen no requirements or warnings are reported; the text domains warning is expected since we use a framework (and this is allowed by the official guidelines).

themecheck.org is not an official WordPress.org service and the information provided there is not necessarily in line with the official theme guidelines.

There is indeed some invalid markup around the ‘to-top’ button which might cause issues in some cases with specific browsers. Thank you for pointing that out. We’ll correct it as soon as possible.

However, the only plugin I can confirm a problem with is Eu Cookie Notice. All others worked fine with the current 1.3.0.2 Septera release:

@lgfitness: the theme does not impose a size on the static slider image on desktop devices (it is however resized to fit the screen width if larger).

On mobile devices, the static slider area is kept at a maximum of 70% of the screen height (while still being resized to fit on screen) and the overflowing parts (the sides on portrait mode) are hidden.

The image displayed by the theme by default on the landing page (homepage), under the menu, is not the configured header image but a static slider placeholder, which is configurable from the theme’s options under Landing Page > Slider.

Due to technical limitations, the sample image is not visible in the customizer panel. To replace it, simply assign a different image. To remove the sample image, assign any other image in its place and then remove that one.

The static slider buttons are configurable from the same Landing Page options panel.

The accessibility changes in the latest update gave us plenty of trouble and we had to use plenty of debugging to sort things out.
Looking back, I guess a console.log() would’ve been a lot safer 😀

I can see the cookies notification at the top of the site just fine if I disable the ad blocker in my Firefox.

The notification is visible in Chrome (which uses a different blocker).

It looks like the plugin is using the “toTop” ID on one of the elements. The same ID is also used by the theme for its ‘back-to-top’ button. This causes styling intended for the theme button to apply to the plugin’s element as well.

We have not tested multilingual support (Polylang/WPML or qTranslate) with the Featured Content plugin, but we’ll look into this.
If multilanguage support is activated on the custom post type added by the plugin, then things should technically work the same as with standard posts/pages (the theme code handling the two cases is the same).
