This is how WordPress works. You can’t just type any kind of HTML into the content of posts/pages (for security reasons) when using the rich editor. Any input is sanitized on save.
You can however switch to the text editor to type anything you want. But keep in mind that switching to the rich editor on that post/page at any time later will mess up anything you have typed in.

For now you’ll have to manually type in any HTML you want to display on the presentation page (while keeping in mind that NOT all HTML is accepted, see C20 in the FAQs.

Try adding class=”aligncenter” to all the images you wish to center.

I see a lot of javascript errors on your website. The only way to debug that is to disable ALL plugins and see if the errors go away (if not, more testing is necessary to pinpoint the problem).

I assume this “latest” got updated at some point in time in the past few weeks and is no longer the same 1.8 included with WordPress.
Google calendar might also use jQuery…
Disable that plugin for a moment and see if your issues go away.

I don’t see <center> in the allowed tags, so you’ll have to find a workaround involving classes and text-align: center. Without seeing what you are trying to do, I cannot guess a valid CSS solution.
To make the images responsive, they need to have relative (to parent) sizes, like 15%, 30%, 100%… The parent (container) also needs to have relative size to its parent… and so on…
