This is highly dependent on the operating system used, on the font used, WordPress language, browser internationalization support and so on…

Check to see if a HTML code/entity (&some_letter; or Ӓ) is available for that letter and try to use that in your website title.

If WordPress filters it on input, try to manually edit the letter it in the SQL database.

Try deleting the theme folder and re-downloading.

We’ve previously had an issue with the theme archive being broken on WordPress’ servers, the same thing could be happening again.

0.9.9 should fix the mobile menu missing on mobile devices.

And please don’t use the header image to display logos. It is not intended to be used that way.
Use the logo functionality instead.

The drowdowns now have both a show delay and a hide delay, to make the navigation less prone to errors when moving the mouse incorrectly.

What you see is what we call the “Presentation page” which can have any content you want, but it comes with demo content so you can see what it looks like.

You can disable this from the theme’s settings, under Presentation Page.

Parabola supports full-width header image, but in a not-documented (yet) way:

Remove your current header image and leave the header background colour field empty. Do set the header the desired height, though.

Then use this custom CSS to define the full-width header image:

#header-full { background: url(path/to/full/header/image.png) top|center|bottom center|left|right no-repeat|repeat-x; }

Keep in mind this image is not responsive and also that you’ll need a proper sized image that either repeats itself cleanly or looks properly on all screen sizes.

Buttons don’t support the target parameter.

Also buttons (all shortcodes in fact) should be considered obsolete as they are no longer accepted by WordPress in themes and only exist as compatibility for existing users. And we may be forced to remove them at any point in the future.
