If you’re using post-generated columns, the widgets are not used anymore. Make sure the posts that are displayed in the columns have featured images and that these images are larger than (or at least) the configured column size.

The caption itself is not clickable. If your captions overlap too much of the slider, try to reduce their size by including less content (or making the content smaller). This line needs to be the first meta line in the source of the site.

Most shortcodes don’t have previews (of the resulting content) in the dashboard (in either the visual or text editors). Preview the page/post you’re placing it in to see how it would look to the public.

You are also using WordPress’/Jetpack’s Photon service (which loads images from their servers, not your own site). I’m not sure how (if?) Photon reads the theme’s image sizes.
Disable Photon and check if the images are displayed at the right size, and if they still are not try to regenerate your thumbnails.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
