For best results you should use color combinations that work together.

I recommend setting accent colors that are not used anywhere else on the site and not using the accent colors themselves for backgrounds (the accent colors are already used on specific content elements, including backgrounds, to create the visual identity of the design).

The homepage and blog page are special sections to WordPress and their (static) pages’ attributes (like featured image, meta attributes and other parameters beside title) are ignored and not used when the pages are assigned to those sections.

Hi,

Care needs to be taken when choosing and customizing the configurable color options. Some colors are used in multiple places (either directly or with small variations), while the two main accent colors are present throughout the site.
Generally, the main accent colors need to be chosen to work and remain visible on all the configured background colors (as they’ll most likely appear on all of them).

The letters animation effect is handled by the cryoutSliderTitleBreakUp JavaScript function (found in resources/frontend.js) which is not easily replaceable, and CSS animations defined in the theme’s main style – look for the ‘cry-single’ and ‘cry-double’ classes.

The animation duration is controlled by the styling, while the animation pause (duration between effects) is defined in the script.

Hi,

WordPress handles the homepage and blog page as special sections, on which the (selected) pages’ template option are ignored and have no effect. These sections will normally use the theme’s configured general layout, like most of the site.

This behaviour can only be changed by adding functionality to the site through custom code.

Our themes are not designed to display menu items descriptions out of the box. While this can technically be added, it would also require proper handling in the styling to keep the menu appearance functional.

I see what you mean. I guess Gutenberg changed the hr markup once again. We’ll have to account for this in the next theme update.

In the meantime, you can undo the styling change with CSS:

For anyone else wondering about this, the logo image is limited to the menu bar height. But this can be tweaked with CSS to have the logo image display at its original size and expand (overflow) out of the menu bar, if desired:

Since you did not include a site link I cannot check for this myself.
If you’re seeing changes not applying instantly on the frontend, perhaps you are using a caching plugin? (also note that mobile browsers cache content aggressively and you’ll need multiple refreshes to force them to reload).

When enabled, the theme’s Fullscreen header image option applies to the entire site.
If you don’t want the header image to be full screen, turn the option off and use the theme’s landing page banner image option to configure a distinct (larger) image for the homepage only.

I’m not seeing anything out of the ordinary on the site at this time. Did this have the same cause as the wrapping issue described in the previous topic?

As a side note, text always wraps around left/right aligned images. The quality of the wrapping depends on the combination of screen width/image width. If you want the text to clear and appear under the images you’ll need to apply some custom CSS to disable the images floating (most likely on only the smaller screen sizes).

Hi,

The presentation page is not a static page. In Nirvana, this feature is built as an extension of the regular posts list homepage and as such it is in fact the blog (home)page, which is similar to a category section.

To control what external services see as main attributes (title, descriptions, tags, text, images) on the homepage, use a SEO plugin that provides this functionality (for example Yoast).

The theme’s landing page text areas are each capable of displaying different content by selecting a different source (static) page for each one through the options.
If you’re seeing the same content everywhere then you may have selected the same page for all.
