The color options now sanitize the entered values as hexadecimal numbers (#abcdef). This was done in recent updates to resolve a lot of plugins interference with the theme’s color options.

But I noticed something else – you’re using a child theme but have copied the entire parent theme styling to the child theme’s CSS. This is generally a bad idea as the parent theme can change in time. You should only include the customized styling in the child theme and also load the parent theme’s style.

On an older version you won’t see such a notification, but you can still install the plugin to restore the theme’s settings page.

Before it (incorrectly) applied to individual posts elements, while now it applies to the whole content container (be it a page, a single post or a whole category page containing multiple posts) as we always intended it to do.
The site background color option works the same as before, and applies to the body background color (which you should be able to see on the sides if you zoom out or view the site on a large enough screen).

We usually release it closer to the point when the theme gets approved and becomes published in the WordPress.org themes repository as we never know what changes we’re requested to perform during this review which might also change the link removal code.

It also has an option to use these featured images as header images (under the Post Information > Featured Image options panels) when the featured image is large enough. This would make it display the featured image in the header (above the post) on single posts.

The overlay can also be disabled from the theme’s options (under colors > header) by setting the opacity to 0%.

This is why we went through all the trouble of displaying random existing content (posts/pages) in the landing page sections after theme activation.
Sample demo content is a good idea, and we’ll try to get this set up in the future, but we’ll have to provide it through our site since we couldn’t include it with the theme.

All other site sections (including single posts) will use the general layout.

If you are referring to the image displayed under the menu on the theme’s landing page feature (the homepage by default), this is configurable from the theme’s options under Landing Page > Slider.
Due to a WordPress limitation, the sample image is not visible in the customizer panel. To replace it, simply assign a different image. To remove the sample image, assign any other image in its place and then remove it.

For such a customization you’d need to edit the content files handling posts appearance (mostly all under the content/ folder) and the appropriate styling.

Even if a theme (or update) would include something that would break the plugin providing the forum, the actual forum content would still be left in the database and would return to functioning order once the source break is resolved.
You must have updated or changed something else beside Fluida when that happened. And even then the actual forum data should still be left stored in the database.

I cannot recreate any widget functionality problems in either the customize interface or the old widgets section with the last Fluida release. We’ll need more info about this issue.

We are still looking for the best way to support WPML/Polylang without relying on their individual function calls for the job (as this would limit language support to just these two plugins).

Please check the available documentation and search the forums before starting a topic.WordPress’ built-in import/export functionality normally takes care of moving content (posts, pages, media elements) from one site to another. The themes’ front page (named landing page in Anima) has an entirely different method of configuration, so this would need to be manually re-configured.
Widgets normally hang around when switching themes but I’m not sure if they are handled by the import/export procedure.
