1 / Change the opacity of the title:

2 / Change the colour of the subtitle

Yes, I did solve this, with the help of Joy in WordPress Forum (links below; and she also filed a bug report).

It was caused by a “\” (backslash) in the Site Title.

Thanks. Did that, as always: that’s the first step. It makes no difference (I am also very conservative with plugin choices for that very reason) – and I assume I should *not* deactivate your own plugin?!

What’s next? Did you try your end? Same result?

Basically the drop down list appears, but the main menu item link is clicked, and therefore the drop down list only appears as long as it takes to begin loading the page of that main menu item link.
