1)You can actually turn the columns off. Just choose an option like Latest Posts under ‘Column Content’ and under ‘Number of Posts to show’ choose 0.
2) That will become an option in a future version.

We didn’t get that in any of our tests. We’d like to know if you ever got that with Parabola.
Also for debugging purposes since you say it’s not an important site, you could create a new Premium support ticket and give us temp login details for that site so we could check it out ourselves.
Thanks again for the feedback!

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindI really think that if the plugin you’re using is creating another author info box, it should be the one to hide the default WordPress one as well. This is not theme related, this is normal WordPress behaviour.
Anyway, an easy way to hide it via CSS would be this:
#entry-author-info {
display:none;
}

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.September 17th, 2013 at 18:10 in reply to: Please help, Posts Not Showing on Presentation Page #12355KayCryout Creations mastermindThe default WordPress behavior uses as the front page whatever you selected in the admin section under Settings >> Reading >>Front page displays, where you probably have selected a static page. Reset the value to ‘your latest posts’ and everything should be back to normal. It is a small bug on our part but it only happens if you misuse or do not understand this WordPress feature. This will also be fixed in the next theme version.
@Tim R: So before you start using words bigger than yourself in an area where your knowledge is clearly lacking you should not change any settings that you don’t know the effect of, or in case that you do, you should remember to go back and check them again.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindThis doesn’t sound theme specific. If you want to move plugin content you should edit the plugin in question. Also, a link to your site with some examples would prove really helpful.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindAgain, for shortcodes to work, you need a shortcode plugin. Parabola doesn’t come with any of its own.

Dave Thorpe seems to have the slider working. If you could tell us what the problem was that would be great.
Lukas wasn’t uploading Featured Images to the posts he used in the slider, that’s also fixed.
Sarah if you could re-enable the presentation page so we could have a look.
Jenny changed the theme.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindThat would be pretty strange behaviour. Right now you only have 2 posts but imagine if you had 10 posts with 10 comments each underneath plus the comment form. It would also be pretty confusing for the users. BTW, could you show us a site where you saw something like this because I haven’t.
Anyway if you really want it, it’s possible but we consider it custom work

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindHi!
You can add 2 things to the header:
1. A background image that would fill up the whole background area of header. You can do that by going to the Appearance -> Header.
2. A logo ( that can be any size) by going to Appearance -> Mantra Settings -> Header Settings -> Logo Upload and uploading your own image logo. Then just make sure you choose to show the logo in the ‘Site Header’ option above this.
It’s not a one or the other type of thing. You can have both the background image and the logo at the same time.
Also, if the ‘Mobile view’ settings under Layout Settings is enabled (and it is enabled by default) everything will be responsive and will show properly both on computer and mobile screens.
Good luck!

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindHi!
For the first issue add this to the Custom CSS area, under Miscellaneous Settings in the Mantra Settings page:
`#site-description { clear: both; margin-top: -10px; margin-left: 40px; }`
And for the second issue:
If you want an avatar you must go to gravatar.com and create one there. Make sure you use the same email address. The favicon is the small image that appears next to your site title in the browser’s address bar so that’s something else.

Before making any modifications to your theme we strongly recommend using Child Themes.KayCryout Creations mastermindThe Presentation page wasn’t thought with a sidebar in mind. It’s not very easy to implement a sidebar although we may include it in a future version.
Until then, if you really want a sidebar you can stop using the Presentation Page altogether and insert a Slider Plugin on you homepage.
