Hi, the theme looks great and I love the settings panel, but I’m having some problems with youtube/vimeo embedding, and I could not find any solution so far.
Either way of embedding I use (default wordpress embed or other plugins) the content gets as wide as the page or column, no matter which exact size I set in the original youtube/vimeo embed code, or in the shortcode.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thank you!January 2nd, 2014 at 17:01 #15290KayCryout Creations mastermindHi!
Could you give us a link to your website so we can check this out ourselves?

How can I fix it?January 6th, 2014 at 18:42 #15538DavidI am having this issue as well. I tried embedding the video into a table and editing the width and height of the table, but the resulting size seems to be completely random and changes every time I re-embed the video. Without tables, the video spans the entirety of the page, which is not great. Here’s my example:

January 18th, 2014 at 05:16 #16079JaneInside the WP panel it has a button to update but it says updating will break all customizations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why isn’t just the one file fixed?
How to preserve all the hard work I’ve done?
January 18th, 2014 at 20:42 #16138JaneIf we save out the customized theme files and replace them after the update, we will get the ‘bad’ file that is causing this video issue RIGHT BACK. So, shouldn’t you just provide the ONE file to fix this? Otherwise we will have a lot of pain resetting all the blogs features.
Please let us know what file it is that is doing this so we can grab it from the theme and fix it by replacing ONLY that file.

I also replied to you on the wordpress.org forums. You can safely make the update – the message you are seeing is the default WordPress message and it appears for ALL themes when you make an update. It’s WordPress’ way of staying on the safe side in case something does go wrong.
There’s also an Export/Import feature on Tempera’s setting page so you can save the theme settings on your PC.
Plus, remember that this is a free theme for which we offer free support in our free time. Asking for support on a Saturday and expecting an urgent reply during the weekend is a little too much to ask don’t you think?
