I could translate “By” but not Continue reading. Tried to translate Continue reading <span class=”meta-nav”>→</span>, but didn’t work.

Only in the file admin/defaults.php – “fluida_excerptcont”

That string is part of the theme’s settings, so it’s editable in the settings, not in the translations.
