Thumbinals dimension doesn't affect excerpts

    Hello,
    I’m trying to show excerpts with a small image from thumbinals but the dimension I set doesn’t affect the real dimension of the picture.
    It should be 250×150 but I see a big picture, as big as the width of the column.

    Now I changed the homepage but the issue is still not solved
