Tab becomes unselected when a child page is accessed.

    In  my case I have a page ‘About us’ and another page (child of About us) named ‘Who we are’.

    When I am on the About us the corresponding tab is highlighted correctly but when I am on Who we are, there is no tab highlighted. I think that a normal behavior would be too keep the parent tab selected.
