Hello,

I have a problem. I added four social network icons (facebook, twitter, pinterest & tumblr) to my website via ‘appearance’ –> ‘social media settings’ in the wordpress dashboard. I saved the changes, then refreshed my website (I was using firefox). The social icons appeared in the header and footer as expected. So far so good. However, when I logged out of wordpress and refreshed my website again, the pinterest and tumblr icons suddenly disappeared, leaving me with only the facebook and twitter icons.

Could someone please tell me why this happened and possibly offer a solution. I tried fixing the problem myself, but to no avail.

Disregard my initial post. The icons now appear when I log out and refresh. Weird. I don’t know why they weren’t in the first place. Anyway, it’s all good now.

You’re probably using a caching plugin so you see cached content from a previous date/time.

Cached content is periodically updated so you eventually see all your changes, just not instantly and/or when not authenticated.
