Hello,
I`m using the Parabola 1.2.0 theme.
As I need just a Facebook icon on my website, I would like to disable the rest. Unfortunately I can`t find it how.

Hi

Go to Parabola Settings then to Social Media Settings then at the bottom uncheck all the options, or you can just blank all the fields for Facebook etc i.e. remove the # sign.

Yes but wouldn’t my social icon disappear next the time I’m updating the theme?
I’m using the child theme.

Hi

As long as you put a copy of the folder, with the path. within your child theme you should be OK, they should not get overwritten by a theme update i.e. Parabola-child/images/socials

You’ll need to get your replacement icons to 26px x 26px in PNG format and using exactly the same file names as the ones you are replacing.

I tried it out and it didn’t work as I thought, I suspect you’ll possibly need some change to the theme-functions.php file, but I’m not sure exactly what.

Parabola doesn’t yet support easily overriding the social images. We’ll get this done in a future update.
