I’m not sure if this is a bug or just the way the theme works, but it is the same issue on the Nirvana demo as well as on my site.

The text that appears on top of my slider images while in full screen view is presented below the slider images when viewed on small screens (my HTC phone as well as reduced browser viewing size on my 15 inch laptop). I would like the text to remain on top of the slider images in full and small screen viewing. The slider images and text seem to be responsive, the text is just no longer on top of the image. I’ve noticed this with the Nirvana, Tempera, and Parabola themes in addition to my website. The Mantra theme’s slider looks perfect when viewed in small screens.

So my question: Is there a way to make the text be on top of the slider images when viewed on small screens?

    Thank you,
    Kathleen

    Thank you.

That is intended behaviour, as the slider needs to be visible (and clickable) on mobile devices as well. As a result, the text moves under the slider since its size can vary enough so that it may not fit on the slider image or overlap it entirely, making it non-clickable (tappable).
