January 7th, 2014 at 13:00 #15568AshgoSame question. And also. How to disable slider on mobile & tablet view?
January 7th, 2014 at 22:36 #15578MichaelI am also interested in the ability to add a slideshow to every page. Also, you may be able to create the effect using a slideshow plugin + a plugin like toggle the title to turn off the title from displaying automatically on a page ( note I have not tested that plugin with this theme although I may be doing so later to try this method out ). then put the slideshow at the top and it should be about the same…

For other sliders on pages you can use plugins. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

From a Web Design point of view that is VERY amateur and sloppy. Please make the Slider available for Plug-in or add it to the theme Tempura. Get it together guys great theme just lacking attention to detail.

Actually sloppy and amateurish is getting the theme name you’re asking support for wrong. It’s ‘Tempera’ everywhere and you still manage to get it wrong. ‘Tempura’ sounds like the dark god of sloppy amateurs doesn’t it? Please pay a bit more attention to detail.
As for the slider, we’re using Nivo slider with our presentation page and we don’t claim that to be the best. Of course we’re going to encourage people to try out other stuff as well so that they may get the best possible experience. And the web designer that you are (using somebody else’s theme on your site just grants you that title) should know that things get a bit more complicated than that. For the slider on the presentation page we use a specific set of options for loading content into the slides. Now if the user decided to add 10 different sliders on 10 different pages, with different content on each slider, it would become very complicated without the use of custom posts (which are forbidden for themes on wordpress.org). Creating a Nivo slider plugin would be redundant as well as there already is a Nivo slider plugin on wordpress.org.
“Lacking attention to detail” for a theme that has over 200 options and is based on a framework that’s been constantly updated to the user’s needs for over 3 years now, really makes me recommend you another theme.
Good luck Scott!

It’s realy disapointing to hear that i should take a additonal plugin. That’s absolutly senseless when the possibilities are integrated in the theme. Then i can take the twentytwelve standard WordPress theme and a plugin…and thats exactly what i have done 😉
But thanks for your effort.
February 19th, 2014 at 17:49 #23925MaxteqIt will be great that all page or post can have option to have same slider as presentation page. That make the theme more consistency. Do not worry about having different image for different pages, that is definitely not our main objective.
June 13th, 2014 at 20:21 #25787ZedCryout Creations mastermindWordpress themes are very limited to what they can come bundled with. We are not allowed to include shortcodes, to bundle plugins, to include SEO functionality, custom post types, and a lot more. These are all considered “plugin territory”.
We are working on creating a plugin dedicated to our themes only, through which we could expand functionality, but this is far from done for the time being.
