I’ve just downloaded and installed the new beta Tempera theme, looking really good but I’ve had a few issues with the presentation page slider.(this is happening both in Chrome and Firefox)

1. The Nav arrows are coming up incorrectly.
2. The bullets are crammed into a small space at the top of the slider window, whereas they should be at the bottom.
3. When I re-sized the slider to a smaller size it right justified.

I have had a look at your demo page which all looks correct.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. It looks like some files are missing from your theme. I’d recommend re-downloading and re-installing the theme.

Thanks for the help, I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the theme and got same erroneous results. I deactivated all the plug ins and it worked fine. Not sure which caused the conflict.

You must have had a separate nivoslider plugin which was loading its own CSS and JS, overlapping that of the theme.

Screaming for help like that won’t get you anywhere. If you want to receive any kind of assistance you need to go beyond “slider is not working…..please help!!!” You need to give as much detail as possible about your problem, tell us when it was working, what you were doing when it stopped working, what plugins you have installed, if you tried fixing it in any way, did you update WordPress or the theme… that sort of thing.

I see you have it fixed now so that’s a good thing.

Actually after activating plugin ‘In-text SEO internal link building’ slider stops working, is there any way to run slider without deactivating this plugin?

We’d have to test it ourselves and see what happens. Seeing that it’s not a very well spread plugin I’d suggest searching for another one. We’ll look into it.

Slider issue: Slider is working but animation is not so images just pop from one to the next.
I’ve tried changing animations and timings, still no animation, Thank you much

In addition to animation not working in sliders as mentioned in previous post the nav arrows for sliders are not working as well, hope this helps with diagnostics. Thanks again, cool theme.

Solved, reset defaults

Thank you so much for your wonderful themes.
I currently use Mantra on my taxation blog http://www.sataxguide.co.za. Its so fantastic.

I however wants to use the Tempera theme, I am encountering a problem when I want to change the Presentation Page, When I change the Slides and click Save Changes, it gives me an error below:

Not Found – Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

Please help.

Had the same problem as Nyasha, “Not Found – Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.” when navigating the slider. Found that the plugin for InBound Now (Call To Action from http://www.inboundnow.com/cta/) was interfering with the slider, and when deactivated, the slider is back to normal!
