first off, let me thank you for the most flexible free wp theme!
i only have one problems i hope you can help me with:
slider is set to show 5 random posts, but it only shows 1 or 2 (depending on the systems i have tested it); is it a known bug or there is something wrong in my wp? please take a look if it helps: http://www.giornirubati.it

Make sure your posts have Featured Images set. Only posts with Featured Images are taken into consideration.
