Newbie WP user here; apologies for such a simple question – I can’t find where to set the default alignment when I add an image in a new block in a post as “centred”, it currently defaults to left and I am loading lots of images and I keep having to centre them manually. I am doing the classic blog thing; single column, lovely wide page vista so I can go… text, picture, text picture etc, nothing complicated. Love how “epic” this theme is by the way. Struggled with Twenty Seventeen for ages. Bravada is wonderful, I am a bit dim though – ha ha!

See number 40? The top of my red visored head is only just peeking over his shoulderThat last line there is the comment i posted in, in this instance, the fruit juice, although I’m not sure from which fruit it was squeezed, prior to it, magically appears after I have posted my text in.

WordPress does not provide an option for setting the default alignment mode for content images.
Searching for information on this topic does reveal some old solutions which seem to no longer work in the current WordPress releases:https://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-alignment-and-size-default-value/
