Im creating a new site but cant seem to get the serious slider to work on the header footer sidebar. even widgets giving me a problem. What could be causing this.

And if i put a logo image it overlays the header image

Help with the slider pls i want to use it but it doesnt show ive tried it even activating the landing page, still not working.
