I updated my Fluida theme to version 1.2.7. I have an Aweber subscribe form on one of the pages that appears in the last text area on my landing page. In the previous version, this worked without a problem. Now, the script works fine when viewed on the individual page, but does not work on the landing page. The actual text of the script shows instead of the form. Please help!

I have some shortcode on one of the pages displayed in the text area on my landing page. On the page itself, it is fine. On the landing page, it is displaying the long code for the short code.
The page is still very much in development.

February 22nd, 2017 at 17:26 #42869I haven’t tried v1.2.8 yet. Don’t want to be the first to see if this problem is fixed. I ended up installing a plug-in called WP Rollback to go back to v1.2.6. My script works fine in that version. Others may want to try that.
February 22nd, 2017 at 17:43 #42870I was able to fix it by putting an extra [ ] around my shortcode. That fixed it on the home page but broke it on the page the text area was pulling from. So I made separate pages just for the landing page content with the double brackets around the shortcode.
February 22nd, 2017 at 21:51 #42874CherdPower UserThanks! That worked perfectly!
February 24th, 2017 at 17:42 #42919I updated to v1.2.8.1, and my form still didn’t work on my landing page. So, I tried add brackets around my script as blindaman did, but that didn’t work for me either. Just reverted to 1.2.6 again.
March 1st, 2017 at 11:12 #43028I tried what blindaman said and it worked for me, but that’s just a workaround. Using V1.2.8.1 and the bug persists.
March 2nd, 2017 at 12:50 #43057I do have the same problem with the v1.2.8.1 most scripts from shortcodes do not works, not even with the [] workaround. Just installed the version 1.2.6 and works fine.
