RGBA vs HEX in Color Settings

Okay so maybe it’s not a bug and there’s a good reason behind it, but I like to make some colors in rgba rather than hex so I can set their opacity.
However when I save and come back those fields have automatically gained a # in front of them and I have to manually go back and edit them out or else it makes everything go to poopoos.

It’s a tiny, tiny little thing but it makes my life a living hell when I want to play with the colors. Is there any way, in a future update to fix this? :3

The settings fields only accept HEX colour codes and will filter out/reset any content that is not a six digit hexadecimal number.

You need to resort to custom styling applied on top of the theme’s styling to use rgba colours.
