Hello,
I’ve recently added a blog to my site. Comments are disabled on all pages, but I’d like to enable comments on my blog. I can’t see how to do that, and to be honest I can’t remember where I went to disable the comments in the first place. Are you able to help?
Thanks a lot.

I’ve now figured out how to enable and disable comments on my pages, but the blog posts are still behaving strangely. There’s no box to enable anybody to comment, and instead there’s some small text at the top of each post saying “No comments”. Any idea what’s going on here? Thanks.

The “No comments label” indicated that those posts have comments enabled on them, but nobody commented on them (yet). The comment form should be visible in the single post view, at the end of the post.

The permalink setting was causing rogue apostrophes to appear in the post URLs, so there was no way to get to the single post, and therefore nobody could comment even if they wanted to. I’ve changed the permalinks to be simply numerical, and that seems to have solved the problem.
