Hi-
I’m using Serious Slider within the Nirvana theme. The slide/image itself is responsive/resizes nicely for smaller views/mobile, but the text overlaid on the image — the title and caption — does not, leaving much of the text and the read more button not-visible on those screens. Is there a way to make this text also resize based on device? Should I add media queries to custom CSS?
Thx!

May 3rd, 2018 at 20:55 #63247I added media queries to custom CSS — it’s doing a decent job of making the slider responsive and allowing it to be readable (and clickable) on smaller screens. I can probably move forward with that approach unless there’s a better/preferred method you may know of.
Thanks.

– maintain height mode is intended for sliders where the caption is more important than the slide image; it maintains the slider height on all screen sizes (to keep the caption fitting in) while cropping the sides of the images to fit on the screen.
– legacy mode is intended for sliders where the images are important and caption is very short or non-existent; this mode shrinks the images while maintaining their aspect ration and complete visibility, resulting in very small room for captions on the smallest devices. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

June 1st, 2018 at 22:15 #64407I am having the same problem with the default slider. slider text is not visible on smaller devices – just a grey box occupies half the screen. Please advise.

July 14th, 2018 at 15:48 #65911ZedCryout Creations mastermind@yvonnedale: after using a proxy I was able to access your site and the slider appears to be working normally (the caption moves below the slide image on smaller screens).

in addition to the comments above I would like to know if – and how – it is possible to change the size of the buttons at the slider? On mobile devices it looks fine but in the desktop version the buttons appear too small and are hard to read..
I´m using the fluida theme. Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
