Theme: Parabola version 1.6.1. WP version 4.5.1 Trying to remove the default search under main menu.
The canned response to this problem throughout the forum is “go to When going to Theme > Parabola Settings > Graphics Settings and turn it off there”. But the problem is I do not see any options in Graphics Settings for removing the search bar in the theme. Did this option move to a different location in Parabola v 1.6.1? I also made sure I don’t have a “search” item in any of the Widgets for my site.
The only options in Graphics Settings are: Breadcrumbs, Pagination, Menu Alignment, Triangle Accents, Post Images Border, Content List Bullets, Page Titles, Category Titles, Hide Tables, Back to Top Button, Text Under Comments, Comments are Closed Text, and Comments Off.
Barry, this is the forum for Nirvana. Parabola doesn’t have search forms in menu options.
Also, widgets and menus are different things – look for the search widget in the Appearance > Widgets interface.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
