I would like to know if there is a way to remove/disable the camera placeholder image that sits behind the featured/cover images of posts displayed as featured items (or anywhere, really). I added transparency to the image and a dark-colored background to improve readability. But now I see the camera icons creeping on me through all the images.

How shall I fix this?
