I’m having difficulty getting Presentation Page Slides to work for Latest Posts from Category.
I have created a special category just for the images, but it refuses to appear in the pull-down list of categories. It does show up everywhere else that I have looked.

Is this a bug or have I missed something?

After some more fiddling I have it working – not quite sure why the category took so long to appear in the pull-down, though.

How can I remove the text blocks at the bottom of the slider image completely?

I’ve put in a blank post title and no other text, but still get a narrow black band that cuts off the bottom of the image.
