The slider on the presentation page does not work — it just shows the “working” circle, without ever loading the images I’ve uploaded. Did I miss something or can this be fixed?
Thanks!

Bis jetzt lief alles tadellos, ich verwende die Version 1.8.7. möchte allerdings auch nicht updaten, denn ich habe sehr viele Einstellungen vorgenommen.
Könnt ihr mir bitte helfen?
Danke
January 16th, 2013 at 15:25 #3104KayCryout Creations mastermindHi!
Unfortunately, although German is on our to-learn and master list, we didn’t get to it yet. And even if Google translate does a pretty good job, it only takes us so far. So please, could you rephrase that… in English?
Thanks!

Until now, everything was going perfectly, I use the version 1.8.7. and would not update, because I have made a lot of settings.
Can you please help me?
Thank you

January 17th, 2013 at 17:24 #3129ZedCryout Creations mastermindKarolina,
You are using a plugin named ‘jquery-lightbox-for-native-galleries’ which loads its own jQuery library which may or may not be incompatible with WordPress’ built-in one. I recommend switching to Fancybox for WordPress
You are also using a ‘jj-nextgen-jquery-slider’ plugin which loads its own nivoSlider jQuery plugin, the same slider we use in Mantra. A plugin should not load js code on pages it is not active on.
These doubles are most likely incompatible with each other and will fail to work if active at the same time.
You need to be more careful when installing plugins and leave active only those which you use.

But I had this plugin already several weeks without any problems. It works out of the Google calendar no longer tabs are no longer displayed. Thus, it seems more of a problem not only of the slider in the theme. Unfortunately I have no idea what this can do and who can help me now.
January 17th, 2013 at 23:14 #3139ZedCryout Creations mastermindjquery-lightbox-for-native-galleries uses the “latest” jQuery library from Google Code. I assume this “latest” got updated at some point in time in the past few weeks and is no longer the same 1.8 included with WordPress.
Google calendar might also use jQuery…
Disable that plugin for a moment and see if your issues go away.

An update would solve my problems on the 1.9?January 18th, 2013 at 11:51 #3146ZedCryout Creations mastermindI don’t believe that will help you. Mantra does not include any javascript libraries, it just uses WordPress’ own.
I see a lot of javascript errors on your website. The only way to debug that is to disable ALL plugins and see if the errors go away (if not, more testing is necessary to pinpoint the problem).
Then enable the plugins one by one and always check to see when the issues reappear. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

plugin which I have now deactivated. Neither installing the latest version of Mantra solved the bug. I hope this can help. Thank you!January 19th, 2013 at 01:12 #3161PaoloJanuary 22nd, 2013 at 20:27 #3229NathanCurrently our site is set to have five rotating pictures on the presentation page slider. As far as I can tell, every link in the text box links as it should…each to its corresponding article.
However, all five pictures are always linked to a specific post that doesn’t even correspond with any of the articles the pictures are referencing. in other words, every image is taking us to one location rather than to where each one is supposed to go.
January 24th, 2013 at 18:38 #3307KayCryout Creations mastermindPaolo, we’re gonna check Mini twitter feed and see what can be done
Nathan, could you show us a link to your site? Also please update to the latest Mantra version if you haven’t yet done so.

I seem to have the same problem with the rotating circle instead of a presentation page slider. Yes, the “Latest posts” setting is checked.
I’m guessing it’s related to some plugin, but I can’t figure it out which one!!
Here’s the link: http://www.hartanumerologica.ro

Great theme, lots of customisation. However, I have a small problem. I’m using a subdomain http://www.s316771102.websitehome.co.uk/ to develop a new site on 1&1 running PHP5.4. It’s a new WP install (30 Jan 2013), so latest WP and Mantra. My issue is that the presentation page slider steadfastly refuses to display the 5th (i.e. last listed) image. I have varied the listing order of my images (all in the slider folder) to ensure the problem is not image related (e.g. size) and whichever is listed last, that’s the one it won’t display. I have disabled all my plugins so I don’t think there is a conflict there. Same result in IE, Chrome, Firefox. Almost looks like it can only count to 4… Hope you can help
Thanks for your assistance
David

January 22nd, 2014 at 10:23 #20139TaponThis Pot rack was on sale when I purchased it, and I am very happy with the look and size of this item. It now does what a pot rack soulhd, but I had to modify it a bit to get it to work properly. I hung less than half of the maximum weight initially with less than satisfactory results. First, you need to use a set of channel locks or a vise grip with a towel to tighten the screws with the decorative ends that hold the frame together. If you hand tighten these, it will sag on the wall when you hang it. Second, the pot rack comes with three pitiful screws and wall anchors. The directions state that with these you can hang no more than 30 lbs. It has only one screw in the top, and even though the rack was held in place, it would bend at the top pulling away from the wall. I drilled two more holes in the top bracket and used better screws and anchors than what were originally provided. Now I have no problems!
