Anyone else having trouble verifying their website with Pinterest? WordPress has (what seems like) very simple instructions for accomplishing the verification, as follows:
The best way to verify your WordPress blog is with HTML meta tags. Thanks to WordPress for these instructions:
- Sign in to WordPress and go to your blog dashboard
- Open Tools –> Available Tools
- Paste just the content part of your meta tag from pinterest.com/website/verify in the Pinterest Site Verification field under the Website Verification Services header
- Click Save Changes
- Go back to pinterest.com/website/verify and click Click Here to complete the process
You’ll see a message that the process was completed successfully, and your website and a checkmark will display on your profile page and in search results.
When I go to the ‘Available Tools’ tab, there is no option for “Pinterest Site Verification”. Is this an option Mantra does not have?

There is no “Pinterest Site Verification” field in WordPress. And Mantra has nothing to do with this.
Perhaps this will help.
