Picture Rotation Glitch

We have just published a new blog post on our blog, farmhousesoul.com

The fourth picture down from the top, when viewing this post on either Safari or Google Chrome, this picture is rotated horizontally. Here are the weird facts of this problem.

    1) When in edit mode in WordPress, the picture looks fine on the post–it shows up vertically which is how it should appear.
    2) When viewing the post in Safari and Google Chrome, the picture is rotated horizontally, not how we want it to look
    3) Viewing this post on Firefox and Microsoft Edge (and Internet Explorer) this picture appears as it should, vertically.

I have performed the basic steps (clearing cookies, cache, rotating the picture, etc…) but none of these have been a solution to this problem.

Could this be a bug in the theme?

We are using the latest version of Tempera, 1.4.1

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Here is the link to the post where we are having the issue with the picture that I’ve mentioned in my first post.

    The source image appears rotated:

although some browsers render it the right way.

As you are loading images through WordPress’ Photon service (part of Jetpack) I suggest first disabling this functionality to rule out incorrect handling here.
My guess would be that the image has orientation information embedded in it and Photon uses this data to rotate the image. Or perhaps the other images have such information so they are rotated correctly, and this one doesn’t.

Yes, but what is really weird is I know I went in and rotated the picture within WordPress. Even prior to that, I rotated the picture from my computer as well after downloading the picture from my camera. I’ll give it a try with disabling the Phototon service and see what it does then.
