I’d like to add three custom icons to the header area on the Mantra theme so they lay over the header but function individually in the same manner that the social icons do.

I’ve tried a number of modifications to the CSS file and header.php file in order to accomplish this: http://burnsvillechamber.com.c1.previewmysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Image1.png (it’s a screen shot of what I’d like to be able to do) but have been unable to. I can either get them to display above or below the header area.

Please advise?

I see them inside the header right now.
I assume you found the mantra_title_and_description() function in theme-functions.php?

Make sure you make your customizations using a child theme so you don’t lose all your work the next time you update Mantra.
