Hi,

I use Nirvana and its nivo slider on the Presentation page.
The sliders’s text is set to H2. But that means that I have no H1 on my page.

I did find this explanation somewhere : “On the homepage the H1 tag is used on the site’s title. The landing page sections use H2 (on the static slider caption) and H3s (for section titles).”

But I checked several times, there is no H1 on my page. (And I did set up the site’s title, of course). The source code shows no H1.

A homepage without a H1 is not good for SEO.

How do I change the slider’s text from h2 to h1 ? Which files do I need to edit ?

In Nirvana, the H1 tag is normally used on the site title on the homepage (since that’s the most important text there). You can observe this on the theme’s demo.

Since you didn’t include a link to your site, I cannot check your particular setup.
