Hi,
The menu colours at http://www.adaptavate.com/ are acting up. Basically, the green-on-white menu becomes white-on-grey when hovering, but dropping down to a sub-menu changes the main menu item to green-on-grey. Not ideal.
I’ve failed to fix this with :hover-related CSS and can’t see why it’s happening. Any help appreciated. Is it to do with the way the menu is structured?
Many thanks,
Sarah

If the cursor is moved quickly along the menu buttons, some button text does not return to its default colour but remains grey. This happens even if the css styles for a:link and a:hover are both set to the same colour. Why does it turn grey in the first place?

December 10th, 2015 at 12:46 #34384MauroHi,
the menu color issue is present in Nirvana demo installation too. The issue is related to Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. If you don’t hover slowly on the main menu the fade does not complete and the original color is not restored, so the menu item often is left dark gray.
I’ve found a similar issue in Parabola demo using Edge, IE works fine.
I’m noticing a growing number of visitors using MS Edge on my web sites, this could be a relevant issue in you great themes.December 13th, 2015 at 00:18 #34436ZedCryout Creations mastermindWe’ll look into it (hoping Edge doesn’t turn into the new IE6/7/8)

Update: today the menus are working fine! Perhaps the latest Windows updates fixed MS Edge…
