Hi – the menu contains many empty buttons that are being flagged for accessibility issues [WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content (Level A)]

How can I either nuke that out of the code (at the template level) or otherwise fix this?

I am not aware of such buttons existing by default in either the theme or WordPress’ menu code.

Perhaps you’re using a plugin that’s adding it?
