Hi guys, first of all compliments for the outstanding Anima theme!!! Great looks and very flexible.
I cannot figure out how I can limit the text shown on my landing page. When a page ( for instance “Contact”) is shown on my landing page, it will show the total amount of text content that is on that page. Is there any way that I can excerpt that text content? Thanks again and keep up the great work guys!!!
(site is still under construction)

Some of those elements will display excerpt content by default (icon blocks, featured boxes), but some can be adjusted to full content (icon blocks), while others always display full content (text areas and the featured page). You can use (or disable) these elements individually depending on your content needs. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

I was “afraid” for that 🙂
I’ve found a way to work around it (full content shown on landing page).
I have made a second page for that item/page, with only a summary of the original page and listed that one on the landing page.
It works, but a possibility to excerpt also these pages would be nice.Nevertheless I am still very, very impressed by all the work you guys have done and gave us these lovely theme’s!!!(and even for free!!!)
Thanks again!!!Website: www.teamkollee.nl
November 6th, 2017 at 18:26 #55655ZedCryout Creations mastermindIf you’re referring to the icon blocks (which fetch content from pages), these also support manual excerpts (just like with posts). Manual excerpts are are not available for pages by default in WordPress but can be enabled with plugins.

I already found a plugin called “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt”. Is not exactly doing what I was hoping for. On top of that, it affects the lay out of the text in the slider…..text background color is gone, most of it, see attached screenshot
Do you perhaps have a suggestion for a plugin? Thanks again!!

November 8th, 2017 at 19:12 #55732ZedCryout Creations mastermindThen don’t use it. In the past I’ve used the Page Excerpt plugin for this.

I will stick to my way of working around this issue for now, by having (unpublished) separate pages for the landing page with limited text. Thanks again, great support!!!
November 9th, 2017 at 21:08 #55779ZedCryout Creations mastermindThat plugin has one line of functional code. There is nothing to update about it.
Plugins need to be judged by the functionality they provide more than their last update date.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

are no longer that important to me.I will give it another go, THANKS!!!!
