Just installed WordPress 4.4 on a new website.
Uploaded Mantra v 2.4.1.1 from files I had locally (searching for Mantra in Themes resulted in Zero results).
Installed Cryout Serious Theme Settings v 0.5.4Received Error Message on Settings Page after activating plugin:
“Checking jQuery functionality…
“If this message remains visible after the page has loaded then there is a problem with your WordPress jQuery library. This can have several causes, including incompatible plugins. The Parabola Settings page cannot function without jQuery.”Browser Reports:
TypeError: jQuery(…).slider is not a functionI checked the Javascript and JQuery folders and all files appear to be there.
What would be my next step to solve this error?

Mantra is (and always has been) available here: https://wordpress.org/themes/mantra/
If your search returns no results, your WordPress install may have issues searching for extensions. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

I had only one other plugin active: Akismet anti-spam. I have disabled it, closed browser and tried the Cryout plugin again, but the jquery error message persists.

I tried a couple of other things and now it seems to be solved. The one that seemed to work was re-installing WordPress from the Updates page. As this is a new website, something must’ve gone wrong on the initial upload.
Thanks for all your good work. This is my favorite theme and used on several of my websites.
Best regards,
