Hello everyone,
I am a beginner in wordpress and still learning about this CMS on my PC. I want to style an image in sidebar in the same way as that of an image inside my page. Let me try to explain what I am trying to say. I made a page and added an image inside it. I added a caption to that image. In the preview, the caption is displayed “on the image” with a grayish backgrund effect from bottom side. It looks really appealing. I want to do the same thing with image in sidebar. When I add an image in sidebar with caption, the image just shows up with the caption written below the image. How do I style the sidebar image the same way as that of image inside a page?

This depends on what style you use for the images inside your pages. If you could show me a link to your site I’d be able to give you the CSS for the sidebar.

Hello kay,
Thanks for your support.elecon.staging.wpengine.com/resistors/calculate-resistance-using-colour-codes. There is an image in the top-left corner of the page. It contains caption and a link to the photographers profile. That image is having kinda greyish layer starting from bottom. Due to that, the caption and the link looks really appealing. I want to achieve the same thing with the images in sidebar. I want to use such images to create links to similar pages on my website.I really hope to receive help from you Kay. 🙂
