Hi-
I have read everything I could find on the web, [most of it being 2 yrs or older], and I understand that changing the spacing most likely involves changing the css style sheet. The problem is, I dont even really know what the style sheet is. Im just not getting it. I’ve been in the editor, found the widgets, tried changing ‘padding’ or whatever, but nothing changes. I tried adding recommended code into the ‘edit css’, nothing worked, and tried entering the same in the mantra ‘misc css customs settings’ and still nothing. I know I’m probably way off, so can anyone offer “seperate your widgets in your sidebars by doing this-for dummies” info. I feel my widgets are crowded and its driving me nuts. Thanks so much! 🙂 http://www.chiccrafters.com

I see you fixed this by adding empty text widgets. While this works, here’s an easier solution. Add the following code to the Custom CSS area under Miscellaneous Settings in the Mantra Settings page:
.widget-area ul li { margin-bottom:20px;}
You can play with the 20px value as you wish.
