I made a custom post type using CPT UI plugin. I want to show this on “Featured Boxes” of landing page.
I tried to customize but i could only choose general post categories.
Even if I put a general category on a custom post and choose that category when customizing landing page, the custom post doesn’t appear on the landing page.
How can I show a custom post type on Featured Boxes of landing page?

You’d need to customize the theme’s files and replace the queries fetching post data to retrieve your custom posts instead.
