I’m already using Site Title and Tag line but still when I inspect the Home page it gives the error H1 tag missing.

Please advise.

You’re using the logo feature. The site title uses the H1 tag.

Yes, the H1 tag is for now only applied to the site title.

This would be nice to have as many users opt for not showing the title (because they use a header only) which basically kills the H1 on the home page which is quite opposed to good SEO practices.

Thanks for posting this Anson, no H1 tags keeps coming up with errors when I do SEO checks and along with not being able to use alt-text on slider images and the cryout columns it seems the presentation page is actually very bad for SEO which is annoying as it is the most important page on the site.

@ wpfun & marcus, lets hope CR will fix this issue soon. Being such a nice theme and lacking a major SEO factor is really bad!

For me it’s getting to the point I am considering changing from this theme. Every SEO check I do says it’s a serious issue I have no H1 titles on the homepage and no alt-text on the presentation page images. I am trying to improve my ranking but this is a constant problem I am encountering.

Please let me know if you find a better theme with no H1 tittle issues similar to this, I would also change.
