We just set up a website in WP 4.3.1 using
Parabola. A very nice and flexible theme. But we’re unable to connect Jetpack.
We’ve tried all other troubleshoot options but changing themes, since we want to preserve things as they are (and we are newbies and a bit overwhelmed).
Host gives full access to XML-RPC and we tried disabling all other plugins. Jetpack support also had a look at it. The problem seems to be that Jetpack can not acces via cURL.
All that points to an issue with the Theme.Do you have any advice, fix or workaround?
Is there anyone running Parabola in WP 4.3.1 running with jetpack?Thank you
Gaspar
PS: I’ve looked at the forum but could not find a solution. However some people seem to use jetpack (or maybe its other jetpack tools we’re not aware of)

Your issue is most likely not theme related (you can even test this by trying to connect to Jetpack while having one of the default Twenty themes active). Your host needs to allow outgoing connections from your site to Jetpack’s services and the return response.
You need to figure this out with your host – only they know what is allowed and what is blocked on their servers. If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
