as the start I just want to remove the text
maybe in the future it should be written something else

Its always good to give credit, if you take a look at mine you will see a website built by: (my eve toon with java scripting) the link to the website of the theme builder I use( and due to an issue with the theme your using I couldn’t fix I went to a new theme). then a copyright thingy and so on.

but if your dead set in removing it just edit the php theme-functions file and its in there. once that is removed your golden. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD make a back up of the file before you mess with it though cause that file has important stuff for the theme to work.

Now im to lasy to open cpanel at the moment to find the file location, and the line of code where the footer is stored but if you have even basic html knowledge it should be easy to find! If you get really stuck ill check back tomorrow and can give you a hand!

problem is just that I can not find where the footer is located in PHP 🙁

Ditto.

I just want to change the copyright date at the bottom of the page from 2015 to 2016.

I can find this on my other websites where I am not using Mantra.
But now in Mantra in the Dashboard I can even figure out how to get to the footer.php file.
Where are they??????
