I have created a separate page where I would like all posts to be displayed but I cant seem to find a way to designate that this is the page where posts should show. I do not neccessarily want posts on the presentation page.

You can either set it to use the Blog Page template or use WordPress’ settings (under Reading) and select it as the blog page from the list (this option is only usable if you also set a static page as the homepage).
