I have gone into the Kahuna Customization admin pages, selected the Logo and Tagline option and I get a flash of seeing my uploaded header, but then it fades behind the one that came preinstalled with the Kahuna theme. What else can I check to have my header image show up?

And also having trouble finding where to get rid of the Demo/More buttons in the header area.

When I go to look at documentation, that is under construction, or else I would have maybe figured it out more on my own.

The image displayed by the theme by default on the landing page (homepage), under the menu, is not the configured header image but a static slider placeholder, which is configurable from the theme’s options under Landing Page > Slider.

Due to technical limitations, the sample image is not visible in the customizer panel. To replace it, simply assign a different image. To remove the sample image, assign any other image in its place and then remove that one.

The static slider buttons are configurable from the same Landing Page options panel.
