Is there anyway to display the header at the top and have a right sidebar?

I’d be interested also to keep the header and the top menu with the sidebar. I’d also like to remove the menu from the sidebar completely and only have the top navigation menu.

That is not Verbosa’s layout. If you’re looking for layout with the menu at the top I suggest you give our Fluida or Septera themes a try.
