I’m relatively new to webdesign but I’m fairly good with computers and photoshop. I want my header image to span the entire width of my webpage. Right now I’m only limited to 1100px if I use “Clickable Header Image” under Appearance> Mantra settings> Header Settings. I then upload my image under Appearance> Header. From there it requires me to crop the image to 1100px wide. If I use the “Custom Logo” setting under Appearance> Mantra settings> Header Settings it will almost span the entire page but there is about 10-15px not covered on the left side and it is never centered properly. I’ve tried playing with the pixel width in photoshop to no avail. I apologize for the long post just trying to be thorough. Please help!

Otherwise, both the header image and the logo are limited to fit INSIDE the theme content width (the area clearly delimited with white background).

Is there a release date for the new theme? Also, is there anyway to transfer over my mantra setting such as menus and color settings? We really want to have the header width span the entire width. Would it be wiser to switch themes or edit the current one? Thanks.
August 5th, 2013 at 20:05 #10410JeffI’ve uploaded the latest Parabola theme. I cannot find where to adjust header width. I’m limited to 1050px. How do I get it to span the entire width?

Remove your current header image and leave the header background colour field empty. Do set the header the desired height, though.
Then use this custom CSS to define the full-width header image:
#header-full { background: url(path/to/full/header/image.png) top|center|bottom center|left|right no-repeat|repeat-x; }
Keep in mind this image is not responsive and also that you’ll need a proper sized image that either repeats itself cleanly or looks properly on all screen sizes.
