hardcoded line-height parameter in style.css

As per title, in the last update of the Parabola Theme I have applied this morning, there is a hardcoded line-height of 1.7em in the main style.css in the “body, input, textarea” section, line 275, under the “/* Main global ‘theme’ and typographic styles */” header. That overrides the line height setting in the configuration page.
I have manually removed it from the file and the site is now formatted correctly.
    Please review.

I am also unable to use the overriding code in a child theme to remove the copyright in the footer: that’s a long-standing issue I never bothered to report but this is the right occasion to do so and ask how can it be fixed.

    Thanks

    Parabola 2.1.1.

In the same css -section as mentioned in the post above (“body, input, textare”), the font size definition is now 16px as default for all the text areas? and you cant adjust it anymore from parabola settings/conf -page…

forcing it back into 14px fixes sites layout. can you look into it? ty.

I have the same problem. And I can not change the font size. “…and you cant adjust it anymore from parabola settings/conf -page” — this doesn’t work. The font size and the line-height is not changed.

    Thanks!

Thank you for reporting this. 2.1.2 will be available soon to correct the issue.

@Corrado, please use the support form with the footer link question.

hey, didn’t get fixed in 2.1.2? The theme installation page shows version number 2.1.2, however, the version number in parabola settings page (under the reset to default button) is still 2.1.1.

    @Zed

I’ve purchased the theme in 2014, so I have now requested to migrate to the Premium Support, but I still haven’t got access to the support form.

I have a child theme with the hooks required in functions.php suggested at the link I received via email, but if I enable it the whole site breaks spectacularly.

I think some of the code in the functions is obsolete and are no longer compatible with the latest versions of WordPress.

I will wait another couple of days to see if I can open a request on the Support system.

    Cheers

@DannyL We forgot to update the version number displayed in that location.
