I use my website to promote my work as an author, and I have several people who share my posts to social media. Until a couple of months ago, whichever featured image I selected appeared in the share as a thumbnail. Now, only a blank profile image appears. No settings were changed. Excerpts and featured images are enabled, and I always select a featured image.

I need to know how to fix this ASAP as it looks very unprofessional to have my street team members sharing my blog posts, and rather than a related image, only the ‘white man’ icon appears.

I recommend installing and using a SEO plugin that also handles the social side of things (titles, excerpts, featured images for shared content).
