Hi, I really like this template and think it really fit with my site’s project.
Unfortunately, it seems that the featured image option and the comment system don’t work.In the control panel>Featured image settings I set the first image of the post as the homepage post thumbnail but it doesn’t work (of course, i have disabled the featured image option).
Then, albeit i disabled the comment system from the wordpress control panel, it still shows with the theme.
Are both known bugs? Anybody faces the same matters? I try to disinstall all external plugins but both problems remain.Thank you for your help,

Chrome at least displays something that looks like a placemark for what should be featured image, (firefox displays nothing). When I ViewSource in either the tool or the browser, I see no reference to the happily loaded image. It’s such a cool feature and I love the theme and I can’t locate any support replies to inquiries about possible bugs with Featured Images.

Can you please let me know if you add full posts as a feature so I can switch back to Parabola? It’s the only thing holding me back from using the terrific theme.
Thanks!
KimNovember 23rd, 2014 at 01:38 #28354GZipYou can add the Featured image – preferably using a Child Theme – to single php using the code described here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_post_thumbnail
The problem I’m having here is that the way the post thumbnails are defined in the theme they come wrapped in a link back to the post, and I don’t need the image inside my post linking back to the post.
I like all o the Cryout Creations themes very much but I do consider lack of built in support for featured in=mages in pages to be a shortcoming.
(I just found this really nifty plugin for managing child themes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-configurator/ )
